Cenergy Power Begins Construction of 1.1MW Solar System in Tulare, CA
Jan. 10, 2014 - Sundale Vineyards announced the ground-breaking of its 1.13 megawatt (MW) solar photovoltaic system. Cenergy Power has been tasked with the engineering and installation of the large solar system which is currently being constructed over 4 acres of ground area directly south of the facility's cold storage and packing plants. -

Canadian Solar Connects its 10MW Solar Power Plant in Jiangsu to the State Grid
Jan. 9, 2014 - Canadian Solar today announced the successful completion and grid connection of a 10MW ground mounted solar power project in Sihong County of Jiangsu Province in eastern China. This project was developed by CSI Solar Power (China) Inc., a subsidiary of Canadian Solar, with Gaochuangte New Energy as the EPC contractor. -

Hanwha SolarOne Supplies 20.5MW PV Modules to U.K. Solar Park
Jan. 9, 2014 - Hanwha SolarOne today announced that it will supply 20.5MW of its HSL-60 PV modules to vogt solar ltd. ("vogt solar"), a fully-owned subsidiary of the Germany-based company, ib vogt GmbH ("ib vogt"). The solar modules will be installed in a solar park in the UK. -

Jan. 6, 2013 - Canadian Solar Inc. today announced the successful completion and grid connection of a 30MW ground mounted solar power project in Tumushuke City, Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region in Western China. Welspun Energy Signs MOU with Government of Punjab to Develop 150MW Solar Project
07 January 2014 - Welspun Energy Limited(WEL) today announced an MoU with Punjab government to set up solar power project of 150MW capacity. WEL will invest over INR 1300 crore for setting up this solar project over the next three years. WEL is already developing a 35MW (DC) solar project in the state of Punjab. -

Yingli Green Energy and CNNC Cooperate to Develop Distributed Generation Solar Projects
Jan. 7, 2014 - Yingli Green Energy, known as "Yingli Solar", today announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Yingli Energy (China) Company Limited ("Yingli China"), has entered into an investment agreement for the establishment of a joint venture ("JV") with China Rich Energy Corporation Limited ("China Rich Energy"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of China National Nuclear Corporation ("CNNC"), to develop and construct distributed generation solar projects across China. As distributed generation systems, these projects will be located in close proximity to end-users of the electricity to be generated by such projects. -

Hanwha SolarOne Signs MOU with OneRoof Energy for 50MW Module Supply
Jan. 7, 2014 - Hanwha SolarOne today announced it has reached a memorandum of understanding ("MOU") with OneRoof Energy to supply up to 50 megawatts of Photovoltaic ("PV") modules. Hanwha SolarOne and OneRoof Energy intend to enter a supply agreement to establish a reliable supply of modules for OneRoof Energy, as well as to work together to identify and develop new and next generation products for the residential market that will enhance energy yield, improve bankability and increase residual value, and engage with downstream suppliers to improve PV system efficiencies and lower the levelized cost of energy to homeowners. -

ReneSola Panels Power 420MW Solar Project in Japan
Jan. 6, 2014 - ReneSola Ltd today announced it has been awarded a contract to supply 420MW of solar panels to a leading solar project developer based in Japan. ReneSola's Virtus II 300W 72-cell polycrystalline PV panels will be installed in over ten ground-mounted power plants in the mountain regions of Japan, and will provide power to the surrounding residential homes.
