    Canadian Solar Supplies 8.7MW PV Modules for Project in Durango, Mexico

    Dec. 9, 2013 - Canadian Solar today announced it is the supplier of 8.7MW of its MaxPower CS6X Solar Modules to EOSOL Mexico. The ground mounted solar project is located in Durango, Mexico. The formal ribbon cutting celebration is scheduled for an unannounced date in first quarter of 2014.

    Hanwha SolarOne Starts Partnership with Jiangsu Zhongtian Technology

    Dec. 4, 2013 - Hanwha SolarOne today announced it has signed a memorandum of understanding ("MOU") with Jiangsu Zhongtian Technology Co., Ltd ("ZTT") stating their intention to establish a long-term strategic partnership to cooperate in the PV downstream business. The two companies aim to cooperate in the development, construction, financing and grid-connection of PV projects. ZTT intends to use PV modules manufactured by Hanwha SolarOne in its permitted 150MW distributed energy project in Nantong, Jiangsu Province, China. The two companies intend to enter into a definitive strategic cooperation agreement within 90 days following signing of this MOU.

    SunEdison & De Lage Landen Double DG Solar Fund to Over $100 Million

    Dec. 3, 2013 - SunEdison today announced that De Lage Landen Financial Services (DLL) has increased its investment to over $100 million in a sale-leaseback fund. The fund, originally announced in December 2012, delivers financing to distributed generation solar PV projects developed by SunEdison within the United States and is expected to enable new commercial and municipal customers to realize energy savings through solar energy. The newly funded projects are scheduled for completion in 2013.

    ReneSola and SunEnergy1 to Close 2013 with 63MW Projects in North Carolina

    Dec. 3, 2013 - ReneSola today announced its final expected 2013 module deliveries to SunEnergy1. By the end of the year, SunEnergy1 will complete 63MW worth of projects consisting of more than 210,000 ReneSola Virtus II 300W and 305W 72-cell polycrystalline PV modules.

    Pacific Power Renewables Helps the City of Reedley Go Solar

    Nov. 3, 2013 - Pacific Power Renewables has broken ground for the City of Reedley to install solar power on four city sites. 947KW is currently being installed at the waste water treatment plant, the community center, the Royal Valley building and Reedley City Hall. The solar production will offset 100% of the city's power usage at those sites. According to Nicole Zieba, City Manager, "In our City's Centennial Year (1913-2013), it seems apropos to continue Reedley's longstanding tradition of being good stewards of both our natural resources and the public's tax dollars."
