    Innogy and Belectric to Build 50MW Spanish Solar Project Without State Subsidies

    Innogy SE has now taken the final investment decision (FID) for a solar farm in Spain. The 'Alarcos' project is set to have a capacity of about 50 megawatts and will be operated without state subsidies. Both the beginning of construction and full commissioning of the photovoltaic plant are planned this year.

    Enel Sells 450MW of Solar Plants in Brazil

    Enel S.p.A. signed agreements with CGN Energy International Holdings Co. Limited for the sale of 100% of three fully operational renewable plants totalling 540MW. The overall consideration of the transaction, to be paid at closing, is equal to the assets' enterprise value and amounts to approximately 2.9 billion Brazilian reais, equivalent to around 700 million euros at current exchange rates.

    KACO Sold South Korean Subsidiary to OCI Power

    KACO new energy GmbH has reached agreement with OCI on the sale of its South Korean subsidiary, KACO new energy Inc. The President of OCI, Mr. Woohyun Lee, announced that OCI Power had completed the acquisition as an asset deal. As a result, OCI Power is expanding its existing PV solutions business with manufacturing technologies for central inverters and other power electronics.
