July 7, 2014 - Canadian Solar Inc. today announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Canadian Solar Solutions Inc., on Monday, June 30, completed the sale of the 10MW AC Val Caron solar power plant valued at over C$60 million to One West Holdings Ltd., an affiliate of Concord Green Energy. The Val Caron 10MW AC solar power plant is located in the city of Greater Sudbury, Ontario. -

LDK Solar Subsidiary Signs Module Supply Agreement with Energy Absolute PCL
July 7, 2014 - LDK Solar Co., Ltd. in provisional liquidation and its Joint Provisional Liquidators, Tammy Fu and Eleanor Fisher, both of Zolfo Cooper Limited, announced today that its Chinese subsidiary, LDK Solar Hi-Tech (Nanchang) Co., Ltd. has signed a new module supply agreement with Energy Absolute PCL. Under terms of the agreement, LDK Solar Hi-Tech will provide modules totaling 64MW with shipments commencing at the end of July 2014 through September 2014 as part of a project in Lampang. -

Lightway Solar Receives US$11.2 Million Loan for its 9.6MW PV Station in Hebei
July 7, 2014 - Lightway Solar and its wholly-owned subsidiary Baoding Guangdong New Energy Company Limited announced on July 3 that the company has signed a fifteen-year 70 million yuan (US$11.2 million) loan agreement with China Development Bank (CDB) Hebei Branch. The lending organization has already officially granted the loan. -

Solargiga and SADA to Build 40MW PV Plant in Ghana
June 27, 2014 - The Savannah Accelerated Development Authority (SADA), in partnership with DCH Solargiga Company of Germany, has launched a 40MW solar energy plant to augment the national electricity grid to accelerate development in SADAs ecological zone. The 117-million-dollar project is a Public Private Partnership (PPP), under a joint venture of 90 percent and 10 percent respectively of DCH Solargiga and SADA. -
