Clenergy Selected for Megawatt-Scale PV Project in Sabah, Malaysia
September 5, 2014 - Clenergy recently signed a contract with a new client to provide one megawatt of Clenergy's PV-ezRack SolarTerrace III-A for an installation in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia. The contract is a strong start for Clenergy's expansion into the ASEAN market. -

SPI Announces Agreement to Acquire 26.57MW Solar PV Project in Greece
September 9, 2014 - SPI Solar today announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire Sinsin Renewable Investment Limited ("SRIL"). SRIL owns solar photovoltaic ("PV") projects in Greece with an annual nameplate capacity of 26.57MW. Under the terms of the agreement, SPI's subsidiary, SPI China (HK) Limited, will acquire all of the outstanding capital stock of SRIL from Sinsin Europe Solar Asset and Sinsin Solar Capital for an aggregate purchase price of 70,600,000 Euros (U.S. $91,780,000) using a mixture of cash and SPI shares, including $27.5 million in SPI shares at $0.72 a share, with closing expected in September 2014. -

Frontier Renewables, UC Sign 80MWs of PPAs for Projects in Central Valley
September 8, 2014 - Frontier Renewables LLC announced today the signing of two 25-year power purchase agreements ("PPAs") with the University of California to provide its campuses and medical centers with a total of 80MW of clean, renewable solar photovoltaic energy. The projects are 60MW and 20MW in size and are both located in Fresno County, California. -

Tata Power Solar to Supply Modules to the L N Bangur Group for 10MW project
September 9, 2014 - Tata Power Solar today announced that it has won a significant DCR order under JNNSM phase-2 batch-1. The company will supply the entire module requirement for the 10MW project to be built by Palimarwar Solar Project Private Limited in Rajasthan. The 45,000 modules needed for the project will be manufactured at Tata Power Solar' manufacturing facility in Bangalore. -

Hanwha SolarOne to Supply Second 50MW Modules to Shansheng New Energy
September 9, 2014 - Hanwha SolarOne Co. Ltd. today announced it has signed its second supply agreement with Baotou Shansheng New Energy Co., Ltd. for delivery of 50MW of Hanwha SolarOne's PV modules. Deliveries will begin in October and are scheduled for completion by the end of November. The modules will be used in ground-mounted projects in Hohhot and Baotou, Inner Mongolia. The Company had previously announced a similar 50MW module supply agreement with Baotou New Energy on August 9, 2014. -

September 8, 2014 - Ingeteam has exceeded 120MW of PV power supplied in Chile. This record figure has been achieved thanks to the good results obtained with the Ingecon Sun PowerMax central inverters, featuring a rated power of 1MW and a maximum efficiency of 99.1%. These inverters have been installed in a solar plant with a 100MW power output.
