Coronal and Panasonic Break Ground on Eight New North Carolina Projects
Coronal Group LLC and Panasonic Eco Solutions announced their newest portfolio of eight solar PV projects in North Carolina now under construction. This 37MW AC portfolio will generate approximately 71.3 million kWh annually, which equates to taking 10,350 cars off the road or producing enough energy to power just under 4,500 average homes each year. -

SolarWorld Joins Forces with Enphase to Develop Integrated AC Modules
SolarWorld and Enphase Energy Inc. have agreed to jointly develop a new generation of AC solar modules (ACM) for the worldwide market. Seraphim Solar to Open 300MW USA Manufacturing Operation
Seraphim Solar Manufacturing USA, Inc. announced that its new solar factory in Jackson, Mississippi is scheduled to commence trial operation. The plant will produce a minimum of 300MW a year. The first phase will begin formal manufacturing and operation in November, with an anticipated expanded production capacity of 1GW within the next 3 years. Modules developed by Seraphim can meet all of the diverse needs of North American customers. -

SunEdison Completes 2MW Solar Farm in Columbia
SunEdison, Inc., in partnership with Bithenergy today announced that Columbia, Md. is now offsetting 100 percent of its energy use from renewable sources. Columbia now sources 75 percent of its energy from wind renewable energy credits, and 25 percent from a newly completed 2MW DC solar farm in SunEdison and Bithenergy's Nixon Farm solar project in West Friendship, Md. -

Jinko Power Signs RMB10 Billion Strategic Agreement with ICBC
According to the terms of the agreement, ICBC Jiangxi Provincial branch will provide Jinko Power line of credit of up to RMB10 billion within three years. The financial instruments will include but are not limited to working capital loans, supply chain financing loans, and project loans. The final amount drawn will depend on Jinko Power’s projects financing needs. -

Duke Energy Completes Four PV Projects Totaling 30MW in North Carolina
Duke Energy Renewables today announced it has completed four solar power projects in Eastern North Carolina, adding 30MW of solar in the state. The projects are located in the towns of Creswell, Everetts, Battleboro and Sunbury.
