SolarCity Opens First Vermont Operations Center
SolarCity has opened a new 13,000 square foot operations center in Burlington. The new facility is SolarCity's first operations center in the state, and the company expects to employ approximately 100 people at the center when fully staffed. -

Canadian Solar Closes Purchase of 59.8MW Ontario Assets from KKR
Canadian Solar Inc. today announced it has closed on the purchase of three operating solar projects totaling 59.8MW AC from KKR. The total approximate enterprise value of this transaction is C$270 Million (USD$203.7 Million). In conjunction with this acquisition, Canadian Solar also closed a USD$50 Million loan with Credit Suisse. -

First Solar Receives Construction Loan Facility for Utility-Scale Solar Generation
First Solar, Inc. today announced that Mizuho Bank Ltd. was extending a low interest construction loan facility of up to US$33 Million (4 billion yen) in Japan to First Solar Japan GK to develop utility-scale solar power plants. First Solar will engage with Japanese companies to construct the projects. -

BayWa r.e. Sells 15MW Solar Farm in UK
BayWa r.e. has sold the Pingewood solar farm, close to the town of Reading in Berkshire, England, to SUSI Renewable Energy Fund II. The sale was closed on 24. September.
