    Risen Energy Solar PV Modules Receive JET Certification for Use in Japan

    SPI Energy Cooperates with China Kangfu to Support PV Power Project

    SPI Energy Co., Ltd. today announced that its subsidiary Gonghe Xinte Photovoltaic Power Generation Co., Ltd. has entered into a 10-year leasing agreement with China Kangfu International Leasing Co., Ltd. ("China Kangfu"), pursuant to which China Kangfu has already provided financing of RMB140 million to support the 20MW Gonghe Xinte solar power project in Qinghai Province.

    Solar Frontier Modules Selected for 16 Projects by Staten Solar

    Solar Frontier announced today that its CIS modules will be installed at 16 solar project sites ranging in size up to 522kW by Staten Solar. These solar PV systems will be located in Tulare and Kern Counties of California's Central Valley on farms that produce almonds, pistachios and table grapes.

    ReneSola to Supply 81.5MW of Solar Modules in China

    ReneSola Ltd today announced that it has started shipping solar modules to two customers with an aggregate volume of 81.5MW. Shipment to TBEA Xinjiang Sunoasis, relates to ReneSola's supply of 305W, 310W and 315W modules of 56.5MW for the customer's projects located in Xinjiang and Jiangsu provinces in China. Shipment to the other customer, China Foma Group, relates to ReneSola's supply of 265W Virtus II modules with of 25MW for the customer's project in Gansu Province. Deliveries of these modules are scheduled to be completed by the end of May 2016.

    Wacker Officially Opens New Production Site in the USA

    Wacker Chemie AG officially opened its new polysilicon production site in the US State of Tennessee. The new site is totaling some US$ 2.5 billion. Wacker began starting up individual plant sections at Charleston in December after a construction period of just under five years. So far, about 1,000 metric tons of polysilicon have been produced there. In the coming months, Wacker will gradually ramp up production and expects to reach Charleston's full capacity of over 20,000 metric tons per year in the third quarter of 2016. Currently, the site has about 600 employees and, when fully operational, should have some 650.
