Soltage & Basalt Announce $140 Million Partnership for Solar Investment
Soltage LLC and Basalt Infrastructure Partners LP today announced the first close of $70 million on a $140 million equity capital partnership to fund over 100MW of commercial and industrial (C&I) and utility pipeline solar projects across the United States. The partnership expects to close the additional $70 million of equity in the first half of 2017, and the partnership will deploy this capital alongside existing tax equity and debt resources. Marathon Capital served as Soltage's financial advisor on the Basalt capital commitment. -

Geco Awarded a New 1MW Contract from Longi
Geco received a new, 1MW order from Xi'an Longi, in October, to supply sheet-metal solar mounting structures on the rooftop of Meiya Cable and Wire Company in Hainan province. Every year this area is subject to typhoons, and wind speeds can reach 51m/s. Geco has the experience to deal with this challenge, having supplied structures that can withstand powerful typhoons to a number of projects in similar coastal regions of China and Japan. Geco has gained Longi's trust and established a long-term relationship. -

Etrion Announces Agreement to Sell 60MW Italian Solar Portfolio
Etrion Corporation today announced the signing of a definitive sale and purchase agreement with Ultor S.p.A ("Ultor"). Ultor is purchasing Etrion's 60MW Italian solar portfolio for initial cash consideration of Euro 78 million and the assumption of related project-level debt of Euro 221 million, with potential additional cash earn-out payments of up to Euro 24 million depending on the outcome of certain legal and regulatory proceedings.
