    PSEG Solar Source Acquires Two Solar Projects from BayWa r.e.

    PSEG Solar Source today announced it has acquired two North Carolina solar facilities from BayWa r.e., with a total capacity of 47MWs-dc, representing a total investment of $74.6 million. The PSEG Cork Oak Solar Energy Center and the PSEG Sunflower Solar Energy Center are under construction and scheduled to begin operation later this year.

    PSEG's 7.75MW ILR Solar Farm in Service

    PSE&G announced today that its ILR Solar Farm is in service, supplying renewable energy directly to the utility's energy grid. The 7.75MW-dc universal solar power plant covers 21 acres of the closed ILR Landfill with 23,834 solar panels that will generate enough electricity to power more than 1,200 average-size New Jersey homes annually.
