We are facing impacts of the risks of global climate change including rising sea levels, more extreme weather flooding, droughts and storms. These changes are happening because large amounts of greenhouse gases are released into the atmosphere. The global climate change is also altering our energy generation potential and energy demands. And nowadays the renewable energy is growing fast to reduce the carbon emissions.

A customer from Morocco contacted GSL ENERGY about looking for a solar energy solution to run a hotel locally. This project required a 1MW solar plant including solar panels and storage battery to provide for power supply.

According to customers' need, GSL ENERGY suggested they take 3 containers of solar panels and with 500kwh battery storage systems. GSL also provided them rack mountings of the solar panels, hybrid inverters and LiFePO4 batteries for this project, as well as all related accessories, like PV combiner box and connectors and cables.

As a distributor of Longi Solar Panels, GSL ENERGY also suggested customers take 3 containers of Longi 550W Solar panels, which totally for 1860 pcs of 550W mono Solar Panels. In order to support for night hotel operation, the customer also required for GSL solar hybrid inverters and GSL lithium batteries, which for 500kwh battery storage system.

The 1 MW solar plant could produce an estimated 112,500 kilowatt hours (kWh) of alternating current (AC) power per month, assuming at least 5 hours per day with the solar array facing South. The highest output will be achieved with an unobstructed south-facing view of the sun for maximum solar power. The actual power generated will vary based on location, equipment and installation factors.

When receiving 3 containers of goods after sea shipping, he was very satisfied with the quality and services. "All of goods are well-packed into wooden cases and with accessories included, which saved us a lot of time and money. Now we are just waiting for starting the business of hotel.", said by the Morocco customer.
