Arista Power, Inc. (“Arista Power” or the “Company”) (OTC: ASPW), a developer, manufacturer, and supplier of custom-designed power management systems, renewable energy storage systems, and a supplier and designer of solar energy systems, announced today that the Seneca County Industrial Development Agency (IDA) has joined other counties in supporting Arista Power to launch a new community solar purchasing initiative, called “Solarize Seneca.”
“By collectively purchasing solar, the community of Seneca County will be able to take advantage of the bulk pricing discount that Arista Power is offering. This bulk pricing, coupled with government incentives and technology advancements in solar panels, makes solar energy in New York more viable and environmentally favorable energy option. We’re excited to help bring this program to Seneca County,” said Thomas Kime, Chairman of the Seneca County IDA.
Robert Aronson, Executive Director of the Seneca County IDA, said, “Arista Power will provide Seneca County area businesses and residents the opportunity to learn more about solar energy as a way to lower their electricity costs in an environmentally friendly way. In addition, Arista Power will work with local contractors and our educational institutions.”
