LONGi has supplied 208 MW of Hi-MO 3 mono modules to Neoen for the Altiplano 200 solar plant, a combination of La Puna (107MW) and Altiplano (101MW) projects in Argentina.

The plant is located at an altitude of 4000 meters and boasts high irradiation. It was constructed by the EPC companies Gensun and TSK and connected the grid on December 19, 2019.

The French independent renewable energy producer Neoen has long-term power plant development plans in several major markets around the world, developing and holding about 1GW of new power plants each year.

Altiplano 200 represents a total investment of US$234 million and created 450 local jobs during the construction process at its peak. The plant is to sell the electricity it generates to national power grid operator CAMMESA under a power purchase agreement with a term of 20 years.

LONGi has collaborated with Neoen since 2018. The firm's 128MW Numurkah Solar Farm in Australia was the first cooperation project between Neoen and LONGi, and it is also LONGi's first large-scale ground solar plant project in Australia. LONGi has also cooperated with Neoen on the construction of two ground-mounted solar power plants in Mexico and Argentina with a total capacity of 400MW.

Neoen praised LONGi during the construction process of this project. LONGi completed module delivery work in accordance with the agreement and the agreed delivery date. In addition, after receiving the third-party report, Neoen highly recognized the quality of the module, which affirmed the efforts made by LONGi in the field of product quality control.

"The Altiplano 200 solar plant, located in a high-altitude region with high irradiation, requires high quality modules and LONGi was selected as the sole module supplier to the project. This shows a strong recognition and trust for LONGi's solar products from our partner Neoen" said Nick Wang, EMEA Sales Director of LONGi Solar."LONGi is willing to cooperate with global customers to create more solar power stations to provide more clean energy to the local citizens in South America."
