Solar Steel, division of Gonvarri Industries is supplying 7.757 single axis trackers TracSmart+® for a 258MWp PV Project located in the state of Sonora, Mexico.
The project is currently under construction and its connection is expected by the first quarter of 2020. The power plant was awarded with a long-term Power Purchase Agreement ("PPA") in the 3rd Mexican Power Auction in November 2017.
The solar facility is set to occupy more than 990 hectares and will generate enough electricity to supply 214,000 households.
