Isolux Corsan Put 31MW Japanese PV Plant into Commercial Operation

Isolux Corsan has put into commercial operation its PV Solar project in Japan owned by Grupo T-Solar on a budget of nearly €90 million: the Gunma Plant, which will produce 31.2MW and has been built within a schedule of 15 months.

The EPC has been conducted by Isolux Engineering G.K. The PV Solar Plant, located in the city of Takayama, will generate 34GWh per year, equivalent to the annual energy consumption of more than 15,000 inhabitants, and reducing the emission into the atmosphere of 12,000 tons of CO2 annually.

The solar farm, occupies an area of 81.65 ha belonging to a former golf course, has 100,638 installed solar panels and 26 power stations.
