Trina Solar's PV Modules Operational in 40MW Solar Project in the Philippines

Trina Solar Limited today announced that the Company's 40MW of solar PV modules has been operational in the largest solar project in the Philippines, which has started to generate clean and safe solar electricity. The Project was developed by Helios Solar Energy Corporation. 

With Bouygues Construction providing the engineering, procurement and construction management (EPC) services, the 132.5MW solar Project was built on a 170-hectare land area in Cadiz City of the Negros Occidental province.

The Philippine solar industry has tremendous room for development, and the region's supportive policies towards renewable energy make it an attractive market for us. Looking ahead, we will continue to further expand our market share in the Philippines and other emerging markets in the region."
